AUDIO AND VISUAL NOTIFICATION DEVICES

Notification appliances are used to alert persons of the need to take action, usually to evacuate. The appliances include bells, horns, speakers, strobes, text displays or a combination of these devices. The audible and/or visual notification alert the occupants of a fire or other emergency condition requiring action.

 

Speaker. Transmits communication from the Fire command station. Announcements and instructions can be heard from speakers.

 

 

Strobe. Transmits only a visual notification informing occupants of a fire condition
Speaker/Strobe. Transmits communication like the speaker and also adds the strobe notification.
Horn Strobe. Transmits both a visual and audio notification informing occupants of a fire condition.
