What Happens When A Fire Alarm Is Activated
Smoke dampers activate to control smoke.
If there it gets hot enough fire dampers close and stay shut to stop fire from passing through a barrier.
Certain devices will activate elevator recall which brings all affected elevators to the ground floor.
Door Release will release door holders so those doors will close to prevent the spread of smoke and fire.
Failsafe Activation will unlock these doors when a fire alarm is initiated to allow for emergency re-entry into normally secured areas.
